The Heartwarming Story Behind Love Some Buddy

Love Some Buddy began with a simple belief: small rescues do extraordinary work, but often without enough support. Many operate day-to-day, saving lives while struggling with vet bills, food costs, and basic expenses. We exist to support these rescues when they need it most, helping cover veterinary care, spay and neuter programs, medications, food, and essential costs that keep their doors open. By standing behind the helpers, we help more animals get the care and second chances they deserve.

Learn More About Us

What does Love Some Buddy do?

Love Some Buddy supports small charities—primarily animal rescues—that are always in need but often overlooked. We step in to help with critical expenses like veterinary bills, spay and neuter programs, food, medications, and basic operating costs so they can keep doing the life-saving work they do every day.

Why do you focus on small rescues and charities?

Small rescues do an incredible amount of work with very limited resources. Many operate day-to-day and don’t receive large grants or consistent funding. By supporting them directly, we help ensure immediate, real-world impact where it’s needed most.

How are donations used?

Donations go toward urgent and essential needs such as veterinary care, spay and neuter expenses, rehoming costs, food, medications, and sometimes even helping rescues keep their lights on and doors open. Every contribution is used to support active, on-the-ground efforts.

Do you donate directly to individuals or only to charities?

Love Some Buddy donates primarily to registered or trusted rescue organizations and small charities. In special cases, we may help cover rehoming or emergency expenses when they are connected to a verified rescue effort.

How can I support Love Some Buddy’s mission?

You can support us by donating, sharing our work, or spreading awareness about the rescues we help. Every act of support—big or small—helps keep these charities going and gives more animals a chance at a better life.
