We believe love for pets should reach beyond the feeling. It should help the people doing the daily work of rescue.
WHY WE EXIST
The nervous dog who needs a little more time. The cat who finally relaxes enough to sleep. The rescue volunteer who stays late because an animal still needs their medicine. These lives are made of details, and details deserve our attention.
Love Some Buddy was built around a simple conviction: the people caring for animals should not have to carry every cost alone. We help raise support for the rescue work that happens long before a happy photograph, and we help the animals in that care be seen as the individuals they are.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
“A second chance is not one moment. It is a thousand small acts of care.”
We love the unguarded way animals trust us: the tail that starts moving again, the slow blink, the brave first step out of a kennel. Their needs are real, and our affection should be useful.
That means listening to rescue teams, helping with veterinary bills and daily essentials, and making it easier for potential adopters to learn about an animal before making a commitment. We believe in tenderness with follow-through.

We want every pet to have time to heal, people to rely on, and the chance to be known beyond a single photograph.
Meet the petsHOW WE SHOW UP
Rescue teams know their animals and their communities. Our role is to help more of that work become possible.
Support treatment, medicines, vaccinations, spay and neuter care, food, shelter supplies, transport and necessary rescue operations.
Help people understand an animal’s personality, care needs and next steps, with information supplied and updated by the rescue.
Connect interested families to the team that can confirm availability and guide a thoughtful adoption process.
OUR PARTNERSHIPS
Our current animal profiles are shared in partnership with Heidi’s Village. Its team provides the animal information and oversees adoption. We help bring those profiles to more people and build support for the care behind them.
We also want this work to reach beyond one rescue. Love Some Buddy supports animal charities and aims to collaborate with more trusted rescue organizations as the program grows. Each partnership should begin with listening, clear responsibilities and genuine respect for the people on the ground.
Meet the petsWHAT GUIDES US
Each animal has a temperament, a history and a way of feeling safe. We leave room for all of it.
The people doing the daily work know what support is useful. We listen to them and keep their judgment central.
We will not invent outcomes or promise that a gift reaches a particular animal unless a campaign says so clearly. Trust matters too.
THE FUTURE WE HOPE FOR
We imagine rescue teams with the resources to care well, not merely scrape through; animals who can recover at their own pace; and adopters who choose a companion with open eyes and an open heart.
We cannot make that future alone. But we can keep showing up for it, one animal, one rescue team and one thoughtful act at a time.
